WHO ATTENDS

This is the first time this high caliber event has been co-hosted by Parks and Leisure Australia (PLA) and World Urban Parks (WUP).  PLA hold a national conference each year attracting delegates from around the country.  Over the past 3 years we have averaged 500 attendees per conference:

  • 80% of delegates were employed in local government

  • 10% in private enterprise

  • 10% in state government

Positions held

  • 48% were employed and managers

  • 20% directors

  • 20% executive officers and/or general managers

  • 12% officers

Sectors

  • 25% parks, gardens and horticulture

The Exhibition

The IPLC2018 exhibition area is located across two connecting spaces at the MCG.  The Betty Cuthbert Room and the Olympic Room are situated in the heart of the congress (view the Floor Plan). 

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be held in these rooms each day.  Exhibitors are invited to attend the Welcome Reception on Sunday 14th October and keynote and plenary sessions (included in price).
