Deaparting from 10.00am
Dismounting at the “Greening the Pipeline” (GTP) new Pilot Park which transformed the area into a vibrant open space with an integrated stormwater system. Then we’ll walk along the Federation Trail and see the old Main Outfall Sewer which is heritage-listed, surrounded by housing on each side and acting as a barrier. There will be a stop at Arndell Park to showcase the potential opportunity of linking the GTP reserve with an existing (high community use) space and nearby school. Then continue the walk to the Skeleton Creek aqueduct, a magnificent structure that was built in the 1890s and how it connects with the wider Skeleton Creek reserve.
